Background

The global presence of the Automotive Systems Division and its position as a leading partner for the international automotive industry has been signifcantly strengthened by the acquisition of the Motorola automotive electronics business.

We develop and produce electronic and hydraulic brake, stability and chassis control systems, electronic air suspension systems, engine management and transmission control systems, sensors, driver assistance systems, telematics, body and security electronics, hybrid drives, electric motors and radiator fans.

Operational Requirements

This is a large area (approx. 20,000m2) and is subject to heavy foot traffc, therefore a strong, durable non slip surface was needed to meet essential safety requirements.

Flooring Requirements

To protect the life of the floor an epoxy heavy duty flooring system was chosen, for the warehouse floor area. This floor also had to have a non slip surface that would be durable, so a non slip effect was achieved by special spray techniques to the top coat, giving a smooth, seamless fnished floor, but with a non slip surface.

Flooring System

A 3mm self leveling epoxy flooring system with a non slip spray applied fnish.
